Covering Stories that Matter

I am a French publisher and journalist, passionate about literature, music, dark stories and gothic tales. Growing up in Paris, my childhood was rhythmed with ghost stories and shadows, while I wandered into the depths of the Père Lachaise Cemetery. As a young adult, I travelled the world from America to the Middle East, where I discovered myths, legends and cultures of this world and the ones beyond. After Media and Literature studies in London and Paris, I finally settled in Ireland, where I now review and produce works of writers with chilling narratives. Thanks to an extensive network in the publishing field, I founded Dubh Publishing and lived up to the promise she made to myself when I was a little girl: always bring a little bit of Goth to people's lives. I also write articles, conduct interviews, find sources and pull together all the information needed to write a well-rounded article story. Covered all kinds of news stories, but specialised in certain areas such as literature, politics, or lifestyle. Take photographs to represent a written story, and instantly capture important events at the time they take place. Every week, you can find me hosting an Indie Rock/Folk show called The Cure on Flirt FM 101.3 based in Galway. I talk about news and literature. I interview artists, writers and important figures in the creative industry. I am also the host of a podcast called Dark Emerald about the dark side of Ireland. You can find me on YouTube talking about books on soelvyra. If you are a writer or an artist and you want to get in touch, email me at
